The road to championship glory

The Ambalan Official Football League's championship format is designed for maximum excitement and competitive drama. The top four teams from the regular season advance to the playoffs. First place plays fourth place in a two-game series, with the winner advancing based on aggregate goals. Similarly, second place faces third place in another two-game series. The victors of these matchups then clash in the ultimate final game. If tied after 90 minutes, an additional 30 minutes of extra time is played. Should the score remain level, the championship is decided by a thrilling penalty shootout, crowning the season's champion, who also receives the prestigious trophy and a $1,000,000 prize. Furthermore, the team that finishes first in the regular season is awarded $500,000. Third and fourth place are determined by goal difference, and if still tied, by least goals conceded. If still tied, the regular season ranking decides the final positions, ensuring every goal and every save matters.
