A league of its own
The Ambalan Women's League was proudly established in 2005, a significant 21 years after the men's league began. Our women's season offers a distinct schedule, running from January through July. This allows for a captivating period of late winter, early spring, and most of the summer, filling the stands with exhilarating football action while the men's league takes its break.

In its 22 years, the women's league has crowned 22 champions, with the 22nd winner (Illaris-Ambala FC) winning mid-August. What makes our league truly special is the unwavering support and shared identity. The women's teams compete in the same stadiums, backed by the same passionate fans, fostering a unified football culture in Ambala.
Zida-Mora FC: A legacy of champions
When it comes to the Ambalan Women's League, Zida-Mora FC stands out as a true powerhouse. They dominate the competition with an impressive seven championship titles, secured in 2009, 2012, 2015, 2018, 2021, 2023, and 2025. Currently ranked number one, their remarkable record includes 398 wins, 110 draws, and only 92 losses, accumulating a grand total of 1,304 points. Their consistent excellence defines the league's competitive spirit.
